HALESOWEN TOWN FOOTBALL CLUB are delighted to announce that MAPEI will be their new club sponsor for the 2017/18 and 2018/19 seasons. Throughout its 80 year history, Mapei has shown a commitment to sport and culture, supporting local and national sports teams with a focus on every level forming part of Mapei’s global initiative.

 

Phil Breakspear, Managing Director at Mapei UK commented: “We are happy to sponsor our local club Halesowen Town FC and wish them every success for the upcoming seasons. Eagle eyed fans should keep a look out for Mapei’s sponsorship boards around the pitch.”

 

Karen Brookes, Chairman & Director at Halesowen Town FC commented: “We are delighted that such a prestigious company like Mapei has agreed to sponsor Halesowen Town FC.  It is sponsorship deals of this nature that enables the club to invest in not only our first team, the ground and facilities, but also our Academy and Youth Teams, which are a significant part of our future and the local community in which we operate.”

 

On a global level Mapei have supported the Sassuolo Calcio Football Club, based in Modena at the Mapei Stadium, first sponsoring in 1988. During this time the Football Club has grown to compete in the Europa League, recognizing the effort, professionalism and enthusiasm from the Mapei group together with Sassuolo players. The Mapei stadium now hosts matches for international football competitions with one important feature. An “Open Stadium”, the pitch and seating areas have no barriers. A large project was undertaken to remove all fences between fans and the pitch, thus becoming a symbol of unity in football and a place fit for youngsters and families.
