HALESOWEN TOWN FOOTBALL CLUB have received confirmation from the League and the FA regarding fans being allowed into grounds at the present time. For this to happen the club has produced a risk assesesment to ensure the safety of everyone entering the Grove, details of this can be found HERE
The plans to allow clubs to have fans back into grounds has been split into the following two stages:
From 22 August 2020 to 30 August 2020, spectators are permitted to attend fixtures at steps three to six of the NLS and tiers three to four of the WFP, providing that their number does not exceed 15 per cent of the minimum ground grading capacity at these levels or respective figures set out within our updated guidelines
If a club at these levels does not play any fixtures during this period, it must have played at least one pre-season or competitive fixture in accordance with its respective level of spectators before moving on to stage two
From 31 August 2020, clubs at steps three to six of the NLS and tiers three to four of the WFP will be permitted to allow spectators to attend fixtures provided that their number does not exceed 30 per cent of the minimum ground grading capacity at their level or the respective figures set out within our updated guidelines. However, they must be satisfied that they have been able to comply with the Government’s guidance on the return to recreational team sport and our updated guidelines
The minimum ground grading capacity for step 4 is 1,350 which means there will be a maximum of 200 fans allowed inside the Grove between 22nd August and 30th August with 400 fans allowed from 31st August.
This is a far less capacity than we were anticipating and will mean most games are massively oversubscribed. It is envisaged therefore that entry to most games will be all ticket and restricted to season Ticket holders and those who purchase a ticket before the game.
For the forthcoming home friendlies tickets will go on sale to purchase from the ground to season ticket holders in the first instance they will then go on general sale. These will be priced at £5 with U-12 free with a paying adult.
Once the League season starts, we will be putting home tickets on sale at least a week prior to the fixture and liaising with the visiting team to allow an allocation of tickets to be available for the away team, these will be priced at our normal admission prices of £10 Adult, £7 Concessions, £4 13-18 years and U-12 free with a paying adult.
These will be available strictly on a first come first served basis and there will be no cash turnstiles in operation.
Once fans are inside the ground, they will be required to follow our Covid-19 procedures and adhere to social distancing.
Early indications are that the FA may look again at the situation in October and the above procedures will be revisited when this happens.
Our aim is that all fans enjoy their visit to the Grove and we hope to create a safe and enjoyable environment, with your help we can do that.
