Halesowen Town Football Club, Now turn their attention to the final home game of the season. First season back to this level of football since promotion via the playoffs last April and what a season it has been,

Starting the season with Paul Smith finishing it with Russ Penn. The Yeltz will walk out onto the pitch at The Grove for the final time this season as we welcome St Ives this weekend.

Last time out, The Yeltz were away from home against struggler Hitchin Town, where Halesowen came away with all 3 points after Donnelly got on the end of Hickman’s cross in the season half to give The Yeltz a 1-0 lead and all three points coming back to the Black Country with us.

Last time out for St Ives, they were at home against Stourbridge, it took until the 35th minute for the opening goal for the hosts, The Glassboys had a penalty just after the goal but was saved.  Second half St Ives quickly got a second followed by a third in the 60th and 67th minutes, Stourbridge got one back but the hosts finished it off in the 79th minute with a fourth and Stourbridge left empty handed.

Halesowen Town are currently in 9th place with 56 points, having scored 49 goals this season, while St Ives are in 10th just one points behind The Yeltz with 55, having scored 81 goals but conceding 66.

Last time both teams met it was St Ives who took all the points when Halesowen were on the wrong end of a 6 goal game earlier in the season.

Lets get The Grove full of Yeltz noise for our final home game of the season, and help the Halesowen boys keep our unbeaten home run going.
